I shopped around, from Boone to Raleigh & looked for a few years before my home was listed. I kid you not when I say, every single realtor I spoke to in the process, knew Don Owen's name. When you do something uncommonly well, take pride in helping people through your work, & care sincerely about the impact of your effort put forth for a few decades; your reputation tends to proceed you in any industry however this was truly a surreal experience. I was pre-approved within the same business day that I called. Not only did his whole team annihilate numerous problems with delays due to issues with the seller, even after I scowered looking for better deals MIG still came in on top as the obvious financial decision for me. Nearly every other place I spent hours on the phone with, a different person each time, endless email exchanges and forms, and too good to be true offers that expire the moment you are finished downloading their crappy IOS/Android application (don't) just so they can spam you with emails in the hope you might accidentally click one in ten years. To almost every other firm, I was just a number & the next potential chump. At any moment on those calls I was expecting an offer to extend my car's warranty, or a request to send payment in Bitcoin. Don looked out for me like I was moving in next door to him; it's not just a property you are buying. It's a home, and his team are the reason why I can own my very first.

We contacted Mr. Don Owens on a Sunday evening to inquire about their loan program for Home mortgages particularly VA home loans. Our daughter was in the process of purchasing our current home, which put us in high gear to find the home of our dreams. We were not expecting a return call until Monday. The underwriters in this organization are very slow I would recommend going with another form to get a home loan. Not this place it will take you 3 months or longer to close on a house.
